    First, so different than other A. Quindlen books I have read (namely One True Thing, the one that was made into a movie w Meryl Streep playing the mom).
    Enjoyed the book and her writing style and zoomed through. I enjoyed her “foreshadowing” technique…but that comes later."
    How hopeful that a 60 year old female can find true love with a 44 year old “younger” man.
    Was such a beautiful slow transition from her initial discomfort in the rental home to the ending when she buys the house and misses being there when in NYC. Did she end up selling her NYC apt? in order to afford building her new house in the country with Jim Bates?
    What a great line: “She is a prisoner in the amber of her own past.” p.15
    Looking forward to reading books with you in 2015. Happy New Year to one and all, Michelle
