Missed discussion of Ines, which I did get through and ended up enjoying although it was no "speed read." Unfortunately I will be out of town and will also miss discussion of The Lost Painting. Liked the book very much although some characters seemed extraneous (Luciano, Laura) but because this is nonfiction author felt compelled to include them. For anyone who hasn't read his previous book A Civil Action I highly recommend it and have a copy I would share. It's nonfiction and took place in Waltham, Mass. closeby to where I used to live. I recently read a book about the artist Titian from Venice so enjoyed Carravaggio book immensely. See you all in Jan. for Amy Tan, a book I own. Happy Holidays! Michelle
