Hello.
Since 2013, we have posted a monthly invitation to comment on the book we're reading. In the past several months, we have not received many comments on these posts, so we are discontinuing them as of now.
As a face-to-face book group, we happily share our comments and questions when we meet each month.
From now on, we encourage anyone who cannot attend the meeting on a given month to share your thoughts about the book by responding to the reminder email. Susan will then bring the emailed thoughts to the meeting to share.
Thanks to all who have read or commented on our posts on this blog. We appreciate your input.
Be sure to see our list of titles that we've read from 2008 to the present here.
We plan to continue updating that list.
Happy reading!

What Did You Think of THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME by Mark Haddon?
Now's the time to share your thoughts on our latest read, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, by Mark Haddon, which is also this year's One Book One Philadelphia selection.
If you went to the play, perhaps you'll want to compare the two experiences (seeing play vs. reading book).
The One Book...One Literacy Council book group will next meet on Monday, May 8, 2017, to discuss The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and to distribute Z: A Novel of Zelda Fitzgerald, by Therese Anne Fowler.
Please remember that comments below may contain spoilers!
